The National Platform for Cooperation with ILL (abbreviated as “ILL SK”) is an association of Comenius University in Bratislava, Pavol Jozef Šafárik Univeristy in Košice and the Slovak Academy of Sciences representing the interests of the scientific and professional community of the Slovak Republic in the ILL scientific center. The association coordinates the cooperation of specialists from the Slovak Republic, taking into account the general interest of specialists from the Slovak Republic in access to the ILL instrumental base, the possibility of conducting experiments on neutron spectrometers, additional equipment and ILL laboratories, in the field of materials sciences, applied research on hydrogen technologies and energy storage, research on condensed matter including nanomaterials, soft matter and biomaterials, chemistry, biology, healthcare and pharmacy, the possibility of obtaining a scholarship for doctoral/postdoctoral studies directly at ILL, the possibility of using the services of the ILL industrial contact unit for potential users from industry in accessing technologies developed at ILL.
