Ultrafast X-Ray Summer School

The Ultrafast X-ray Summer School (UXSS) is an annual meeting on X-ray science aimed at PhD students and post-docs, in its 19th iteration. It is co-organized by the Stanford Pulse Institute (SLAC/Stanford, USA), Center for Free-Electron Laser Sciences (DESY and University of Hamburg, Germany) and Paul-Scherrer Institute (Switzerland). This year it will be held in Switzerland for the very first time.
The program consists of lectures given by distinguished scientists in core areas of X-ray science, topical focus and technical talks, a tour of the Swiss Free Electron Laser (SwissFEL), and guided hands-on project work.
