ELI Summer School 2025

10^th anniversary ELI Summer School will take place this year on August 25-29, 2025 at the facility ELI Beamlines, located in Dolní Břežany, Czech Republic.

ELI (Extreme Light Infrastructure)

Extreme Light Infrastructure (ELI) is the most advanced laser research infrastructure in the world. ELI facilities provide access to a wide range of cutting-edge laser systems and secondary sources with high power and high repetition rates. This enables cutting-edge research in physical, chemical, medical and material sciences. The advanced infrastructure enables breakthroughs in technological innovation.

10^th year of the ELI summer school

Gain in-depth knowledge of cutting-edge laser research and network with leading scientists, students and experts through informal meetings. The ELI Summer School 2025 is an opportunity to explore a wide range of career paths and experience what it is like to work at a research facility like ELI.

Five-day programm will offer participants a combination of advanced training courses on laser technology with overview lectures on laser-driven radiation sources and laser-based devices. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to gain practical skills through additional activities of their own choosing. Hands-on training, exercises on writing user applications, interactive lab tours or the ELI Science Olympiad will offer alternative and dynamic ways to engage with ELI. Participants will also have the opportunity to present their own research during poster sessions with financial prizes for the 3 best presentations.

CVTI SR supports young researchers and students to participate in the ELI 2025 Summer School, which will enrich them with unique experiences and knowledge. On this occasion, CVTI SR will provide selected applicants with reimbursement of travel expenses through the project SK4ERA II.
