Chairman of the NCPXFEL Council guest of the external meeting of the SKEBA and UNIVNET platforms

The Chairman of the NCPXFEL Council, Prof. Pavol Sovák, at the invitation of the Dean of the Faculty of Physics and Technology, Prof. Šoóš, attended the meeting of the UNIVNET and SKEBA platforms on May 19-20, 2026 in Topoľčianky. Both platforms bring together academics and industrial partners who carry out research and education in the areas of new battery development, hydrogen storage and materials recycling. These are priority EU topics, which are also addressed by scientists at ESFRI VI in the domains of physical sciences, materials and energy.

In the thematic block dedicated to the connection of both platforms at ESFRI VI, lectures by Prof. Sovák and Ing. Róbert Szabó, PhD. were given on the possibilities of cooperation between both platforms with NCPXFEL. At the end of the constructive discussion, concrete steps were agreed to initiate cooperation, which has the potential to be beneficial for both parties.
